The Kippax Healthy Ageing Project aims to deliver a program that addresses the physical, emotional, financial, social and spiritual needs of ageing adults to anyone in the community aged 50 years and over.
As part of the Healthy Aging Project (supported by the ACT Government) we facilitate access to existing programs run by Kippax Uniting Church and our partner organisations by offering a series of "try before you buy" vouchers to cover the cost of activities for a term. In addition, we will facilitate a range of social inclusion activities such as bus trips, quizzes, current affairs and social issues groups.
A range of Try Before You Buy vouchers are available at https://kippax.uca.org.au/healthy-ageing/try-before-you-buy-offers/
Our first event for 2022 was a bus trip to Braidwood. We have also had trips to Van Gogh Alive, the COTA Silver is Gold Festival, and Craft Alive. Up coming trips will be advertised on our Facebook page and this website.
