Are you looking to try something new but not sure what?  Here are some great opportunities to try a range of activities and programs in the ACT that you can test out thanks to the generous support of the ACT Government, without making an ongoing commitment:

TM Physio (across the road from KUCC in Luke St) run two types of exercise classes in our Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays:
- Fitness for Life - targeted exercises that improve balance, agility, strength and confidence; and
- Targeted Group Exercise Classes.
The Healthy Ageing Project is offering 'try before you buy' vouchers for both, covering your initial assessment and one term of fees. Either contact TM direct and ask for a voucher, or contact Aimee for a voucher or more information.

Change Yoga (Studios in Scullin and Forde) offer classes in Pilates, Meditation and a range of different styles of yoga. Most of the class teachers are qualified exercise physiologists who can adapt exercises to individual capacities.

The Healthy Ageing Project is offering 21 day trial passes for new members.  When people wish to use a 21-day Trial pass they will need to contact Change Yoga (either call Jes and provide her the details over the phone on 0439 406 577 or they can email the details through on info@changeyoga.com.au

COTA (Council on the Ageing) advocates for the rights of older adults in the ACT and runs a variety of programs, conferences and educational activities throughout the year.  Members receive a membership card, a magazine, access to their programs and activities, and discounts.  Through try before you buy, you can have a full membership for a year (normally $42).
Tai Chi is a gentle, relaxation and fitness program designed for people of all ages and abilities.  Try before you buy vouchers are available to cover your first 10 classes.  Meets at Kippax Uniting Community Centre, every Wednesday in school terms at 9.30am.
Girl Guides is an organisation that empowers girls and young women to discover their potential as leaders of their world.  We are offering assistance to adults who would like to train to become volunteer leaders either with regular units or as part of the outdoor adventure team.  
Geocaching is a worldwide treasure hunt using a GPS enabled device to find a geocache near your home, city, the bush, anywhere in the world.  Its' great for people looking to explore their neighbourhood, get out walking, and discovering new places and spaces.  it's a great all age activity.  We are offering a years premium membership and support from local geocachers to learn the game.
Melba Men's Shed provide a place where older mainly retired men meet, socialise, undertake excursions and community activities and some healthy exercises including cycling and walking.  We can offer an annual membership and connection to the community.
