What does your donation support?

Through the many different programs and activities UnitingCare Kippax provides direct support for people who are struggling financially, families who are trying to build on their relationship skills, parents who are learning new ways of caring for their children, young people who are having difficulties in their schooling, people who have moved from other countries and are trying to establish a new life here in Canberra.

Every year there are literally thousands of people whose lives are changed because of the work of UnitingCare Kippax – which is an expression of the concern of this congregation. We are involved in advocacy with the ACT Government about how to improve the community as a whole; we are involved with local businesses as they consider ways that they can be involved in this tranformation as well. We are working with the developers of the new West Belconnen housing project so that there will be a strong, related community from day one.

All this is only possible because of the generosity of members of our community – with their time and with their finances.

Your donation will help UnitingCare Kippax continue its important community work providing assistance to individuals and families without secure housing or enough food, people dealing with financial stress, relationship tension, parenting difficulty, or addiction, and children facing literacy and behavioural issues.
